Vegas Red has got to be my fave color without going individual on the G60. It really pops especially after a wash and wax. Thanks for all the pics OHV_44 and belated congratulations on your new ride SkykingUSA!!

It's been a long time since anything has been posted in this thread, so I thought I'd post a recent shot since I finally got my personalized plates. Still loving the black and red look, and glad to get rid of the old white and blue plates.

I was contemplating ordering Vegas red after my car got hit. Actually went to bmw of Valencia they had one there few weeks ago. But had emergent work had to come back. That was before being hit. Car hit repair very well. Metal work is excellent color and paint job excellent as well.
But would love the M Performance kit on that red too.

Agreed - I do like the retro gold on blue California plates. Strangely the white plate seems to work well against my white car.

My Son-in-law has a Tesla. He had his detail shop put clear-bra material on his front bumper before he stuck the HOV lane stickers on his car so it would be removeable without damaging the paint. Did you do that also? I also hate that Hawaii makes you put the stickers on the bumper itself also. Ruins the look.

Thanks! I am, but only for leisure. Unfortunately, I have not flown in a long time but may get back to it at some point. These days, it's just a nickname which I use mostly for online stuff.

Valencia is where I got my car. If you were there in mid March, you may have been looking at my car while I waited for my CA to return from vacation before picking it up.

Sort of. I bought a pack of pre-cut PPF specifically for these stickers from Amazon. You stick the HOV stickers to the PPF, then apply the PPF to the car.
When the stickers need to come off, I can just peel the PPF off that is underneath them. That was an idea I got from RichardInCA (if I remember correctly) and am very glad I did it that way. I think I would cry if I scraped up my paint from trying to peel those HOV stickers off!

Yeah, I can imagine. Too bad CA doesn't accept "Mild Hybrid" as an excuse as well or I would be all over that. I hate they expect you to do that to your car. Probably to avoid theft. Same as Hawaii and the one on the rear bumper. You'd think they would have a better way so as not to make you deface your car.

My Dad has an FBO in NE Philly. He's been flying and a CFI for decades. Always for fun. Idk if he can still fly though. He's 82 and has A-Fib. Probably down checked on his medical.

I had a Dravit Grey on order, but changed my mind at the 11th hour and I’ve now got a Vegas Red BMW headed to the production line. I decided it better suited the exterior styling of the car (M440ix Coupe). Also, it’s less anonymous. Too many monochromatic cars on American roads.

I have a pilot's license too! And Instrument rating. I really miss flying but unfortunately, the chemo medication I'm on is disqualifying. Perhaps someday! Really miss flying the Cirrus SR22

That’s awesome! I’ve only flown a Bonanza one time. It was an older one with some sort of odd manually deployable landing gear with a “bar” you had to push/pull. Contrarily to popular belief, the Cirrus is a very forgiving aircraft, and the stall characteristics are more benign than I would have expected. I got my instrument rating in a 172 with the G1000 cockpit. Glass was the only way I’d considered it, tbh.
