Tapping noise when AC is running

Does anyone remember the thread that had the remedy for the center console tapping/drip noise when the AC is running.

Just back from dealership. Parts for the BMW bulletin fix on order. They had my car for about 5 hours and gave me a loaner. 2023 330i which I did not enjoy at all because it is smaller. I did get a refresher coarse in self serve gas pumping though

I am dealing with the same issue and am so glad I learned about this thread. Mine was produced in 2023 so it makes sense. Anyone know what parts I can order?

This is unlikely to be a DIY job - your dealer will need to remove the high voltage battery to get to the parts that need to be switched out.

Definitely a dealership job. BMW will cover all costs and give you a loaner. Hopefully better than my 330i loaner.

When I brought my i5 M60 in for this recall, I was given an iX as a loaner. Drove great and had no issues at all. Fit in my garage so all good. One other comment, no more drumming noise when the AC is running.

Mine's in service right now for this fix. Ordered parts today - expecting them tomorrow or Monday, and then 2 days to do the job. I've got an iX loaner as well, confirming that my choice of an i5 is the right one

I just got mine back. They replaced the coolant valves at the same time (for those of us who went through that stop sale experience in the early part of the year).
