I'm digging that sharp cookie cutter shape with straight diamond cut segments that will shimmer under light, and the 7 spoke overall design that is reminiscent of the current M5 and M5 CS (5 or 10 spoke being a much more common design because it's easier to integrate the 5 bolt pattern).
I assume these M Performance wheels are 21", like the 21" Individual wheels of the launch models. 22" would certainly look too big in the 5er's wheel arches and make the tires look and probably feel too skinny, just like the 22" on the 7er: It's quite amazing that we've reached a point in car design where you can pretty much reach perfection with this key element that wheel size is given the current engineering limitations and still ride in comfort. In theory there is still room for improvement (an ideal design sketch typically has 2.5 to 3 wheel widths in-between the wheels), and I have no doubt EV dedicated platforms will make it possible within this decade. |

Very bad design and nothing BMW about it.
Why not just evolve E39, F10, G30 formula. It’s over complicated design that looks downmarket and has lost all BMW identity! |

These pictures actually give me hope that the car, with the right options / build, will look great.
My gripe on the stance stands; looks like an animal about to pounce with the tail higher up relative to the front.

Honestly I’ve noticed every “spy” photos have nothing but “negative” comments. Or when something new comes out it’s all boo’s and no likes and ugly. But when first owners post the new cars it’s always positive comments and how gorgeous the car is…. I don’t get it. Are the moderators doing this??? Literally not one positive review on this post. But once deliveries hit you’ll see the more positive ones

I think having the rocker covers and lower bumper trims a different color than the rest of the car could look really, really good in some colors - kind of like how the E34 M5 was. That press car that's deep red would look awesome with grey or silver rockers, and these M perf wheels. Put a suspension on it, get the M pack and I think you'd have a really fantastic looking car. My hunch is this car is going to look much better in person than it does in photos. |

I’m still banned there as many others… Personally if someone posts pics of their car, i will not go and say something negative but if its manufacturer pics or 3rd party then we should have freedom to voice our opinion on it. |

When the g30 preproduction prototypes were given to journalists still obviously with camouflage wrapping, I thought it looked great even then and then when launched, it immediately just looked right.
I wanted one. The g60 has never done that and act up ally the more I see of it , the more I dislike it. But I think to be fair it’s not just this model, I think Bmw have changed which saddens me I hate to think that there won’t be a future car that I will want now. If you like this g60 , fine. As the poll suggests, it’s a fairly even match between those who like it and those who don’t. So Bmw must be doing something right. |
