I’ve quite liked the recent controversial designs of the G80 etc, G07, G42 - but I just can’t get on with the new 5 Series… the M Perf parts makes it look like it’s having problems with its own identity too!

I really hope bmw has something special up their sleeves for the new M5 and how to fix it and make it look good because this right here does NOT look good and is a step back from the current gen.

I love my LCI F90 M5 so much I was really looking forward to getting the next gen because of how well built it was and how elegant and sporty it looks at the same time. Please don’t disappoint us!

Damn, BMW design headed in wrong direction. F10, Last G was good. If 5ers sales tank, BMW will say people want SUV.

I think it’s the blacked out rockers/lip etc. The distance of the camera makes it look high off the ground like a cross over. That graphic under the window line isn’t helping either.

What the hell happened to BMW designs. The 5 series was the last good looking conservative car that BMW manufactured. In my opinion they have botched most models over the past 5 years. SMH

Sad sight! The car looks disproportioned and looks even uglier with the M parts. However, people will still buy it and that's why BMW does not care what true BMW enthusiasts think about their recent horrible designs. As long as cash flows into their accounts, everything is sunny!

Did someone at BMW beancounters department figured out that if you replace paint with plastic parts you save % of money, and so thats why the cars trim seems to be growing massively around the intakes, like lips of a girl who cant stop with the filler? Whats the deal with that massive black bit around the intakes? Nuts. I really wish they reconsidered what Performance parts look like... This is a little disappointing.
