I don't have easy access to an electric recharger where I live and I've been thrilled with the B58 6 cylinder engine in two previous 5 series. So going with this again was kind of a no-brainer to me.

my friend's mother moved into a new condo a year ago. since the condo is less than 3 years old, one would think that the builder thought about charging parking spots for residents in the garage. nope, they didn't. when she and others got quotes for 4 different companies to have chargers installed in their owned parking spots, the quote was over $35,000 for parts and labor. so she now charges her Tesla Model Y at Superchargers 20 miles away whenever the charge goes low.

somehow I don't think the US is quite ready yet.

Has anything been released on the 550e yet?
I work from home so I don’t mind paying for gas. I figured with the electric motor it will add weight to the car and potentially not handle as well. I also read it would cost an extra $10k. If it was the V8 I would have paid that but not just to drive up to 60 miles in electric mode.

In pictures, the champagne undertones are pretty glaring. Can’t go wrong with most BMW colors, but this and Cape York Green I don’t care for. There’s something about yellow and brown undertones
