“Not beautiful but not ugly”.

In other words MEDIOCRE.

Yep, the new BMWs are struggling to be mediocre. Nice Camry btw…

I understand what your saying but the Tesla was way to fast. And I noticed right away a big difference. I got the slowest of them, even though I wanted the M60 for myself.
Besides it will be a long time before he can just take a vehicle out by himself with ironclad rules in effect. I already laid down th law only 1 friend is allowed in a car with him. And he will be doing all/any driving with me for the first few months at least.

I believe he has mentioned that his videos are slightly sped up, which makes his voice and some of his gestures even more ridiculous.

When I got my license my dad had a brand new 1990 Pontiac Boneville SSE with 165 hp. 0-60, yes, and it was still more than enough to get into trouble! I can’t imagine turning my 16 year old self loose in anything quicker, lol.

Buy them a 4 cylinder Camry that's a minimum of 10 years old.

Better yet, make them buy the car and pay for repairs, insurance and maintenance. You'll be amazed how differently they treat a car when it takes their money. ANd yes, that's what my parents required of me.
This is why we keep a 10 year old VW around for our 20something kids. No way in hell they are driving either BMW. You’re right about them having skin in the game.
