Good point - I was under the impression it had come back but, alas, apparently not, at least until there are better price incentives and more customers. Regardless, a Priority One vehicle trumps dealers' stock especially at the end of the model year. Both of us should get our vehicles before Saint Patrick's Day!

Hi All, thanks for starting this thread. It's my first post here, coming from a Model S that just up and died one day after 9 years of not much trouble. I am excited to say that after ordering a new i5 M60 on 2/28 I received a VIN today, wasn't expecting that to happen for at least another few weeks! How long do you think it will take to finish production?
Ordered Carbon Black/Burgundy Red Veganza/aluminum rhombicle/20" star spoke/driver assist/premium package/sky lounge roof.

Great build - I’d have probably gone burgundy red for my build if it had been available last year. Happy with my espresso instead, but that sounds like a sweet combination.

I think my ship has finally come in. Now what ? Does the dealer inform me it's in or just when they get it in the dealership ? Although it still is in transit, in my app.

Now the VPC checks over the car for damage and does some updates and adds things like floor mats that were ordered. BMW still owns and is responsible for the car. In a few days after this is all done and it clears through customs it will head to the dealership for another look over before delivery to you.

Your ship arrived at 0300 this morning March 8th. The app will update soon, it is slow to update. Sorry I was not at work to grab you a photo as it passed by NYC.

Trevor, how long would it take you to re-route the ship/boat you work on to Port Hueneme near Los Angeles to take a picture of the Viking Queen? You have a few days - the ship is due in port sometime early Tuesday morning Pacific time.

It's not THAT far from New York to LA right?

TrevorG laid it out nicely. It’s huge actually since you and the car are on the same continent. The app will switch to “At the port”. Then it will change to “At the dealership” once it arrives. I waited 12 days since my car arrived on a Saturday, but I think you’ll have a shorter wait.

I agree with you! My dealership is only 65 miles away from the port, so when the Viking Queen docks, I'm hoping for some quick processing. Keeping my fingers crossed for a possible delivery by the end of next week or that weekend.
