I'd go over to Tirerack.com and put in the year and make/model of the car. They are very accurate in identifying OEM tires and, of course, their sizes.

Really sad how BMW has declined in providing information since maybe 10 years ago. I called BMW NA Genius line, and they were clueless, suggested to ask the dealership parts manager. Geesh.
The 20" tires are 245/40 R20 Front and 275/35 R20 Rear
the 21" tires are 255/35 R21 Front and 285/30 R 21 Rear.

Also BMW OEM tires will have a Star on them meaning they are approved BMW OEM tires. So if you go to TireRack the OEM ones will have this. But also check with the dealers. I know that BMW here in Spain occasionally has 50% off tires sales. Pretty sure BMW uses Michelin, Continental and Pirelli tires exclusively. So your car could come with any of them. It just depends on what they have on the Assembly line at the time your car is built. Of course they will all 4 be the same brand/series.

If you want to know more about tires, you may want to take a look at this thread. It's a little old, but not that old and has a lot of information about what tires people received on their 2024 vehicles. I suspect it's not that different now for the 2025 models.

Weird. I had not heard of anyone getting Hankook for OEM tires. But the STAR is definitely on them. I just hope mine comes with them or the Pirelli's I have ordered the same wheels as Scrapula has. With the A/S tires since I will be going back to Seattle in a couple of years. I don't know how long the tires are going to last. I normally am able to keep a set for 3-5 years depending on mileage per year. Otherwise I would have gotten the Summer tires (With the higher Top Speed limiter) and just switched them out for All Season tires when I move back.

They use Goodyear also (I have them).

I wonder why most are in the southeast? Interesting.

The 550e order guide in the post https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=31260427 has pictures of the wheels, their specs and the tire info for each.

Kudos to you guys for accepting this car and feeling excited about it.
I tested the 540i, and it was horrible by all means compared to the old generation. I used to adore the 5 Series in every generation relase, and my latest one was the F90, but I couldn't find a single reason to upgrade to this crappy generation.

It feels sooooooo cheap.
Interior quality is taken from Corolla XLE.
The exterior design is so boring and got zero character.
This 550e even doesn't have an exhaust vent!. The ugly M135 got four. Seriously?!.

I expected to get this generation M550 that should be better than my current M5, but the most shocking news for me was the disastrous new M5.

I don't know why is BMW killing everything great about their cars!
The 5 Series sales figures of 2024 first half are falling, which is amazingly great news for me.

Hopefully, BMW will change its behavior and ditch that Domagoj Dukec very soon.

This will be our first BMW so we won't be disappointed by previous experience. While I agree that it's outward appearance is less than exciting (quite a bit less) and the appearance of BMW vehicles in general (especially the front ends) has diminished greatly in the last few years, this car does tick several of the right boxes for us and I believe we will enjoy it.
