Liqui Moly Anti-Seize Compound. It’s $12 on Amazon for more than you will ever use.

Poorly made and I can't figure out hot to get it over and around the buckle.

Not familiar with BU. Does it have simple menus (for IOS) that would allow such things as anti dazzle coding for US?

It does. If you open the FA it has check boxes and youcan check/uncheck differnt things to change the code on your car and then save it to the car. I Unchecked the box for Anti-Dazzle decoding. I do believe it needs a software update in order for the feature to turn on though. Since the software update should have all the coding, and applies those items checked/unchecked as required.

Is it just me or is the quality just not there? I like these aftermarket accessory ideas you posted, but the quality isn't very good. I would become frustrated looking at them. For example on the buckle the stitching looks off to me and fraying, the BMW logo is off-center and crooked and will probably rub off sooner than later. The logo on the door latch sticker also looks crooked and what is the purpose of these again? Is that a place that scratches opening and closing the door or something? Thanks for sharing.

Sorry if you took offense to my opinion. I think what you did is just great. Like I said I was thinking about a couple of these products as well and you helped me decide, so thank you. No my car will not be "showroom ready", however it also won't be my daily driver. All I was stating is the quality didn't look very high, maybe I'm wrong. I was kinda hoping you'd respond with its just the angle of the picture and its not really off-center or crooked etc. So again I apologize for what may have come across a little harsh.

Mine daily Already have 30,000 miles in a year. I just hate when I take my seatbelt out and it bangs against the b pillar. Maybe that’s how it got misalign but it’s not super tight or glued on so just by touching it every day putting the seat belt misalignment that was my concern. My concern was not banging the b pillar. It has a little bit of cushion. Same thing was the door handles. I put a hammock for my dog and the nylon cable didn’t want it rubbing on the grab handle and do time it probably look ugly. I can always replace that cover door handles too, but that covers must much cheaper and for those seat inserts I have a bad habit to carry my keys or changing my pocket that always fall in between that, I save me a lot of hassle so doing it for the And the striker cover I figure is better than just having Bar metal. They are not high-quality but the functional but regards to a clean car yeah that’s my bad habit I don’t drink or smoke or gamble. gotta have a bad habit in life.

So my car has finally arrived after being delayed by a recall. There is only one accessory I need and that is keyring/keychain.

My keys were just handed over individually and I can see why, it is impossible to get a keyring onto them. I have bent two already.....

Sorry I can't help with that one. I just use my phone as a key, and I carry the credit-card sized key in my wallet as a backup. I always leave the two key fobs at home. I wouldn't want to carry those around in my pocket all the time.

I'm going to give this one a try. I hear they can scuff and scratch pretty easily. Also avoids the need to try to thread something inside of that little clip area.

Can someone tell me what the rear license plate holder is like? Is it 4 bracket bolts or two? I don’t know if they plan on installing one but I’m not doing dealer advertising.

Todd, the rear license plate bracket has 2 screws to screw into the back of the car. The screw holes are pre-made and have an attached backing nut for the screws.

Thank you my friend! I’m contemplating what I should do I this regards. There are a lot of choices, but most of the ones I’ve seen are “M” logoed. I’m wondering if I should avoid those to prevent it from looking “M’d Out”. 😂

I just got seat belt padding that Velcros around the strap. I’m short and female, so I always end up with crushed boobs. These are nice and soft.
