Plymouth(not a dodge) Neon.... lol.. My friend bought one. That thing was garbage.. I think the only thing good about it was that the paint didn't come off like the older ones.. lol

A Fiat Uno...

I had this car when I was working in South America/Venezuela (Company loaned car).

Brand new - stick shift. Lousy 80HP engine

When we took the car to the mountains, the engine would cut out at a certain angle while driving up the switchbacks. I think the angle of the inlcine as well as the turnign motion messed up the fuel pump - no joke. We had to gun the engine before the turn to have the momentum carry us through the turn; engine would sputter and then still stay alive...

I have had some junkers in my day growing up. But the tops has to go to a 2008 Nissan Rogue I had as a rental for a couple weeks.. Everything about that car was horrible especially the performance (or lack there of), this car/suv whatever was equipped with Nissans CVT (Continuously variable automatic transmission), which is essentially an auto with one large gear! It took this thing what felt like 17 seconds to get to 60 and on top of that passing another car with that horrible CVT was a hopeless mission..

I had it for 3 years and 35,000 miles, way less than what the average person drives. Anyways, in those 3 years I had the following issues/parts replaced:

-Approach light under driver side mirror fell out 3 times for no reason.
-Radio replaced 2 times for randomly locking up and refusing to turn on, even after engine shut off/restart.
-Driver side seat belt replaced 2 times. Once because it jammed in the retracted position, and another time because it started to fray.
-Alternator replaced.
-Right headlight replaced.
-Both front axles replaced.
-Power steering column replaced.
-Passenger seat airbag sensor replaced at least 3-4 times for faulty reading.
-Car randomly shut off completely on me while driving in a parking lot. Complete electrical shutdown. Dealer couldn't pull codes and it never came back.
-And the thing ATE brake pads. I had them changed on that car every 5-7500 miles due to squealing or some other issue.

There are more but I've forgotten. Plus, the service was atrocious. One time I had my oil changed and they forgot to put the screws for the splash guard back in. The front of the shield became unhinged, got caught on a raised manhole cover, and then got ripped completely off the car. Dealer had no explanation for their carelessness.

I would never, ever in my life waste my money on a Volvo again. Great looking cars, but mechanical nightmares, at least with my experience.
I had the 2003 S40...it was not bad....and pretty good during Boston winter....

But recently Volvo has gone downhill a lot since Ford own them....
Volvo used to be very reliable and safe....not anymore....

My one buddy has a 2003 Honda Civic. OMG that thing is freaking boring! Loud, no suspension, auto, slow, shoot me now.

Also, any pickup truck I've ever driven. I freaking hate those things. Why would anyone put up with driving one of those on a daily basis is beyond me. They are just huge, heavy, boring, slow, don't handle.
If I need a truck to haul something - I'll rent one and hate every minute of it.

The Elantras have gotten a lot better. I have a 2007 for a work car. It's not bad at all.

A 1983 Buick Regal 4 door (with vinyl top). It was so slow I was beat at a stoplight by a school bus full of kids. My brother won't let me live that down to this day.

PT Cruiser base model rental. Easily the shittiest car made in the last 10 years. Perhaps the better optioned ones have redeeming qualities but the tape deck and manual wind down windows did not impress me... on a 2008 model no less. No wonder Chrysler is sucking hind tit.
