worst car ever driven? that's a tough question...but i'll say a mid-80's model buick skylark. can't remember what exact year, but i had to drive one for a couple days after my acura got in a wreck. man that thing was a piece of junk, i don't see how that car survived nearly 20 years.
worst car ever owned? my first car i got when i was 16. 1997 chevrolet s10. it rattled, crawled, had an exhaust leak, and it was only 2 years old! oh well, it was my first car, i wasn't expecting a bimmer most certainly. |

Pretty sure the worst car I ever drove was either a Chevy Aveo or the Chevy cobalt (both were rentals)

1990 Ford Aerostar was awful. The 1985 Chevy Sprint (predecessor to the Geo Metro) only had 3 cylinders and no amentities at all. But it lacked power steering and I just drove it around the neighborhood so it was actually a nice experience. The brakes on that stupid new Beetle are horrible for a modern car, its more like and on/off switch and made me so mad I gave up driving it after a few minutes on a long road trip. But the dead worst car: my 1995 Civic after it started falling apart and wasn't worth putting money into. One crash begat another and another and soon enough I had to leave her on the side of the road.

beat up pickup truck that was older than me. It was my neighbors. He wanted me to learn how to drive a stick last summer. Would be nice to learn in something that had working brakes though lol.

I'd say the worst was a 1982 Subaru Jimmy. We hit 55mph once going downhill with 4 people in the car. Fastest we could ever accelerate was 49mph. Tin doors and no sound deadening at all (carpet over metal). Car was so short that even as a hatchback, seats folded, you still were barely fitting a snowboard in it.
