Has there ever been a part stuck to another part of a car that isn't dumb?

First of all, stop being so dramatic with your "hottest mod" header. Second, I truly thought these just were part of the car. Don't mind it. I'd wrap them in Xpel though.

So is Chrysler going to get brains out and start selling these in their parts departments for say - $50 each?

Lighten up, Francis.

If you don't like the title of the thread, take it up with the folks at Jalopnik, I copied it straight from their site.

Haters gonna hate. I'm still rocking the cool hood and roof covers that came with my car.

On my way home from the repair garage today, I saw three white Hellcats. All of them had those yellow shipping tabs.

thumbs up - looks awesome - will look even better when it yellows over time - those Dodge guys ain't got nothing on us

I personally left the window sticker on my car and get compliments all the time - on the way the sticker looks in addition to the way it blocks vision both in and out of the car

Saw a few also today. One was black with the yellow protectors. Looked good!

Like many in here, I thought the yellow accent was part of the 'package' I kinda like it.

What is more ridiculous than these air-dam covers? The fact that this has generated 3 pages in this thread...

How about that Jalopnik had an article about it. Oh, actually, nevermind. It’s Jalopnik.

So I noticed that the challenger "Daytona" drivers are rocking these now too. Is that even allowed, or is this a faux pas? I thought you had to be Hellcat level or above to get the right to stick cheap disposable plastic on your bumper corners...

Don’t really need that in a 4 series, they already have high sills and the rear hatch on a 4gc is pretty much exactly the same to look out of! Course there are lots of people that jack their seats up as far as they can go to try and replicate an econobox, low sports cars aren’t for those people obviously.

You make a good point. But I do hope those covers are provided for those models and they don't have to go rooting around in Hellcat owners' trash bins

Was just referring to the vinyl hood. I know it's just the shipping look. I'm just a grumpy old man that dislikes matte anything. I just saw a clown with a faux carbon wrapped Rolls this week. Talk about killing the one good thing about a Rolls, the good paint.

The first time I saw it, I thought the owner didn't know you are supposed to take them off. Then after getting my Hellcat I started seeing it more and more. It is really not a good look.
