im actually proud at MB for stepping up their game with the new AMGs. they used to handle like big ass yachts but they really improved it. my sisters 04 CLK55 handles like shit, my sisters E63 is getting there (still kinda heavy), but the C63 is really improved.
i still think M cars are more track friendly and sportier but just wanted to give a to MB for stepping it up im not biased towards any since my family has been owning both cars for a while..... its really up to your preference when it comes to these two major car companies. |

Regarding the C63 AMG, it is quite apparent that you have no idea what you are talking about. He probably knows that it is different because he has done a little research about the car.
Yes, the M3 undoubtedly handles a little bet better than the C63, but MB has really narrowed the gap between the C-AMG class and the M3 class. |

ill be fair...the m3 does have superior handling and is very very good at what it does
however the c63 does not have a locking diff like the m3 has. this is huge reason why it slides all over the place. but for the 2009 model the 030 package will be available. Which is similar to the ZTP for the m3. The c will have a locking diff and a tighter suspension, plus all the carbon fiber blah blah here and there. lets see how it does then

I think both cars are truley awesome. One factor people have not even mentioned, is that MB dropped their inclusive service plan. BMW however, 4yrs, 50,000 miles FREE SERVICE!!!

my entire family drives mercedes, and some are very cocky AMG dicks. i fucking hate that shit, i feel driving a MB will make u a dick automatically. after seeing all those M3 drifting videos, and the great E90/M3post community, which im a part of in real life, after all these factors M3 was the only option for me. but to you, those factors may have different weighs. u might be 45 years old, u might be looking for auto coz u commute thru traffic, u might... etc... oh now that i read metak's post, my AMG cousins pay 1200-1800 every month to maintain shit that somehow isnt covered by warranty. for instance the hydraulic trunk closure gets out of synch, fixing costs 1500 and is not covered by warranty (it gets out of synch of you forget and try to close the trunk with ur hand manually ... my cousin's kids forget and do it all the time), shit like that. very expensive to own. sometimes it's worth it (if u have a porsche) but in this particular case i dont think it is |

nah dude, but people only look at straight line. u might call me crazy if i tell u i'd take a cayman over any AMG car. in AMG cars there's nothing for the driver to do man except have a lead foot. just floor the thing and go. 6+ liter engine does give a lot of power, but that's not a small engine at all man. that's bigger than ferrari engines. put that on any POS and see it run the 1/4 mile. it's like you want fast huh?? okay we'll take a jet engine and put it in anything and people will all over it. also everyone and their mom are gonna have one in my town that's what u get for living in a 1/2 korean 1/2 persian town.... everyone drives a AMG |

Just trust me on this. My username sort of held true to the whole loyalist nature when it came to M Vs. AMG. It's not so much the case anymore. If you pay attention to the news, AMG has really been stepping up their game. They have. Do yourself a favor and just give a C63 a drive. Give it a hard drive. It won't bite you in the ass unless you do something stupid. Top Gear over-inflated the handling issues a lot imo.
