Good analysis. Everyone knows its heavy. But no one is expecting perfect weight distribution from this car. If it can be had for 10K less that a bimmer thats a good deal for what you get IMO.

If the 4 door R32 made it to the States I might have one in my garage. When i was shopping for my current vehicle I thought about the Sti and scratched it off my list because of comfort and noise issues. The 4 door R32 would have been the comfy (if less powerful) alternative.
I'm happy with my car now, the R32 is just a nice option in that price range. The A3 is kinda cool too but the way the console sits it's less comfortable for me than the Golf platform. |

^Yea, the A3 3.2 is an exhilarating drive but $. Now that the 2.0T comes w/ AWD this could be a good prospect for the future.
