Reallllly nice. I wish they would have integrated that front radar sensor (rectangle) into the grill a bit better. Surprised they couldnt blend it into the kidney grille a bit better. Other than that I bet its pretty efficient as well.

Yeah, I was skeptical about the Veganza too at first. But once you sit in it, it may change your opinion. It feels very well made. The seats are on the firmer side, but are soft enough to make you feel very comfortable and helps absorb road bumps / adjustments. I have to mess around with the settings of the seats (controlled through iDrive and the seat itself) but I didn’t initially see a way to alter the sides of the seat (so you won’t slide around during sharp turns.) I’ll dive a bit deeper there to see if that’s an option on these or only available with the Luxury Seating package. (Standard on the M60)

I was putting in the New Floor Mats that just came in, and just found out the rear Bowers and Wilkins Speakers Glow at night like the i7 as well! So here are just a few ambient lighting shots for you guys.

I must say,...it looks great! The color is really working the lines of the i5!

I actually thought it was an "M60",...but scrolled back to the top and saw that it's and eDrive 40!

Question, can the grill surround lighting be turned off?

Thanks! I agree It definitely does give off M60 vibes. And I would’ve absolutely bought the M60 but I needed the extra Range more than the additional power. We’ll see what BMW does to improve it over the next few years.

Also for the Grille Light, I saw the setting to turn it off. It’s called “iconic glow” in the exterior light settings. You can toggle it on or off.

The car look 99% amazing. The only 1% off is the big rectangular thing in the front grill. They could of integrated better.

Hey! Congratulations. I just have 2 questions. Does you car have the ambient lights with the interaction bar (not just the ambient lights) and does the car have 4 zone climate control? Thanks!!

Thank You! And Yes it has the interaction bar. But no 4-zone. I wasn’t aware that it wasn’t included until after the fact. You apparently have to specifically request it from your SA and it requires BMWNA’s approval.

Nice! I will be getting mine next week! Same paint and rims but mines a 530i with burgundy red! Just found out yesterday that mine doesn't have the interaction bar just two strips running. I am not devastated as the interaction bar with the ambient lighting pushed me to buy the car! Does you build sheet have 4UR or ZWL for the ambient light/interaction bar.

That’s awesome. Yeah the color is beautiful in person. I double checked my build sheet from my dealer and funny enough, I don’t see 4UR on mine. Nothing mentions Ambient lighting in my build sheet they provided. But it’s definitely in the car as you can see. So I likely have a watered down copy. But if you check the order guides in the threads, it shows as a standard feature on the i5 and also on mygarage.bmwusa.com.

I remember reading in this thread https://g60.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=30586813 that the non- i5 models will temporarily not get the ambient light bar due to part constraints.
BMW didn’t publicly announce that but instead, subtly updated the bmw configurator and the official website with that detail.

I also don’t have 4-zone climate controls. I’ve attached the standard features included between the i5 eDrive40, M60, and the 540. You can compare from there. But wait until you see the car.
If you haven’t signed to finance it yet, you should be able cancel it and build another. Or see if they have one coming in that meets your specs.

I’ve had FDG for 2.5 years now.
It’s well worth it, zero swirl marks and always commented on out on the road (yesterday someone started talking to me at the supermarket because he loved the finish)
I don’t have PPF as I want to enjoy the paint for me, not the next owner.
