I will say that I hear mixed reviews on these. People that love these cars, have not driven really fast cars before. People that have driven really fast cars, still enjoy driving these cars; but acknowledge how "slow" they really are.

Lexus tends to engage the driver and make them feel as if they driving faster than they really are. Which isn't a bad thing from a safety perspective and considering most of us are idiots.

Still though, I'm torn between the price versus the performance of these things. I'd own one, if it were priced right......and I could afford.....I was about to say the price tag, but went back and looked at the car you posted....nice find; I even like the color, but damn I hate their red interior. Still a bit over the $60k budget.

Fairly rare trifecta for these.

In a bright colour it certainly unique and yells "theatre". It sounds amazing, goes like stink and handling better than you'd expect for a GT car. Infotainment is appalling but who gives a crap, proper V8.

What color is your Giulia? A QV in red would really look nice. I do think the Ti has adequate power to have fun on public roads however the initial lag is sort of annoying. Agreed on the color of the M3 for sure. My Giulia is Red with yellow calipers, so is the 4C. The i8 is bronze. My current Giulia is a 2018, so has the old shifter - it sucks, but it's literally the only cheap feeling thing on the whole car, so it's no biggie.

The new bodystyle cayman is sharp looking - but no backseat - so no go. 911's are far too much money, so they are out too.

So I've actually seriously considered those - but they are too much $$$.

A decent one is in the high 70's all day long and that is nearly $20k more than I want to spend. I don't see the value there. If I was gonna spend nearly $80K - I'd either get a 2018 Granturismo with the updated interior or a 2010 Ferrari California.

If the LC500 was in the 50-60 range, I would probably buy one.

The Jag interior is not as bad as everyone makes out, you can wrap wood in CF if you want to change it up a bit, looks good. Bigger issue is the infotainment which is GLACIAL and buggy. But fuck me it looks different to anything on the road and that noise.

Yeah - infotainment isn't really a big deal to me. I enjoy the modern tech for sure - but a plug in bluetooth player and a phone mount for google maps is good enough for me.

What will your wallet cough up for those over, let's say, 5 years?
Personally, the LC500 would be a keeper. I go back to reliable as hell and the vanishing rumble of a na V8. Opening the wallet to maintain seems minimal. This would be a thing for myself.

So - keep in mind that I would NEVER keep a car for 5 years, lol. A year is rare for me.

Not really concerned about service costs - because there is nearly no way I will keep this car more than 10,000 miles.

If I had to pick between driving a Ferrari or a Lexus and the only issue was the difference of $2k-$3k of service costs, that would be a no brainer, lol!

I agree on the parts bin special for the Ghibli, but not the GT - it really is it's own car and any parts bin items are directly from Ferrari.

I also agree about the Ghibli sound. They give me one as a loaner each time I bring the Alfa's in for service. Love that engine note!

The GranTurismo is luckily a pre-FCA product that hadn't been ruined although was also pretty much ignored over the last decade.

I'm very interested to see how Stellantis will revive the GranTurismo in the next year.
