Buick makes great cars right now.. I don't know where you are getting your presumptions from.

Personal experiences from when I was growing up. I know it's unfair, completely subjective and it was probably 15-20 years ago but every time I think back to the last Buick my family owned I can't help but be amazed they're still in business. Because of that last car I will always consider Buicks to be a giant POS... Lets just say it takes a while for a manufacturer to regain my trust.

Back when I was born Ford made great cars... wish that was still the case today.

Don't get down, Ford actually is doing much better than you think.

In my early teens my family switched over to Ford and at the time they really were decent cars. I think my parents ran through 3 Crown Vic's in a row before going to Dodge. My first car was an '86 Crown Vic and I absolutely loved that old beater.

The problem I have with placing the Grand Marquis on this list is that it's painfully behind the times. The current model isn't very far removed from the one that came out in '79. Sure, the styling has changed a little but when I sat in one a couple years ago I had eerie flashbacks of that '86 Crown Vic I used to drive. It's still technically a "good car" and hasn't gotten any worse but it also hasn't gotten much better - our standards on the other hand have definitely gone up.
