actually, their rights came with the Emacipation Proclamation. Lincoln declared them free, and they were SUPPOSED to be treated as equals and have the same rights. The amendments were made because people (mostly low class southerners) segregated them, hence the point of my paper.

Regarding the "dummer" thing, it was a typo to which I responded to. And unlike you, I won't get offended by you calling me retarted nor would I resort to name calling. That just proves my point that much more.

he cut 2 sentences out, corrected run-on sentences, and re-worded 1 sentence...he did not ADD anything, but he made it sound A LOT better...therefore, no plagarism occured...teachers encourage having friends help you revise papers...
