Anyone know when they will allow cars to be shipped to dealers? I have been told no sales until October 26 or 28 - can’t remember which.

Hi All. My I5 M60 has been in Transit from Germany for the last 3 weeks. Does anyone know if the Boat goes straight to West coast from Germany or does it go to East Coast and gets put on a truck to the west coast?

Mine is on its way to the west coast on Aquarias leader. Makes port in Oxnard CA on Oct 24 I think

Per the BMW Genius hotline, the cars should not be held unless there is an issue and will be delivered to the customer once they arrive at the dealership.

My status just changed back to At port. So it is at NY port now.

After finalizing the build on Saturday, I'm already showing production begins. The dealer must have an open build slot that they could change, since it was in status 112 already at the vehicle inquiry sheet and it has a VIN.

Mine as well. Pretty sure we were on same boat. Question remains, when will our dealers be allowed to sell us the cars (or lease them)?

My car was ordered last week, but the sales manager had a family emergency and it did not get submitted. Hopefully, it will happen today when he is due back. My salesman said it should not delay production as they have 8 open slots.

Most people reported 3~5 days on quality check. Mine took 1 week. I think 2.5 weeks is a little long, maybe call the BMW Genius to check if there's an issue with your build?

Called, there weren’t any issues. I was told that it’s probably way past that step but it just hasn’t been updated on the production side so🙏🏾

Just checked with my dealer, they said they are not allowed to deliver till end of the month. No exact date was given yet.
