Excited to share my i5 is scheduled for production. First battery electric vehicle. Here’s my build. What’s yours?

I'm trying to get a 530i on order. Sorry, no EV for me until I see next gen batteries, such as solid state. Anyway, I'm sitting in the order bank for 6+ weeks waiting for an allocation. My dealer hasn't received a single G60 ICE allocation to date.

It’s a shame the 540 is delayed at launch. Would you have gone i6? If it were buildable?

Yup. Car is for a family member and performance isn't that big a deal to them. If it were for me, no 4 banger. The B58 would be under my hood.

That’s where I’m at. My mom has a 540i (2019). Bought out lease waiting for this car only for it not to show. I knew it was a delayed launch for B58. But how long?

They want to push the i5. So they made the ice a weaker 4t. I understand their logic. A little?

540i production begins November. However, that doesn't mean allocations for November production will be available in all markets. I figured no way we'd see a 540 before mid January, at best. Can't wait that long. However, if this 530 allocation doesn't present itself soon, we may be car shopping.

Keep in mind that 540i/540i Xdrive will ONLY be sold in the North American market.

540xi is coming 11/23 SOP. Not sure about RWD version

Going to give the non leather interior a try. Defiantly like the merino in the M3s!

Echoing the same. Waiting for solid state batteries and evaluating whether to get “anything M” before these vehicles become a permanent exhibit at the Petersen Museum in LA.

The color options for the merino are only limited to black and brown. I prefer lighter color interiors so went with smoke white veganza.

You mean i5 m60? Or is there an i6?. I’m out of the loop. But My guess is $1,200 a month with like couple thousand out of pocket built at about $90k. Just my guesstimate.

The base price for a i5 M60 here in Ireland is €120,000 or $135,000 and that's before you add any goodies to it. What's the price in the US? At that price I'm thinking of going to another manufacturer for my EV.

If you are looking for a solid German 4t- I drove an Arteon VW the other day. Fantastic Vw version of the A6 I believe. Very surprised by refinement.

Starting US MSRP = $84,100 for i5 M60

In Portugal

Starting prices

i5 M60 - 116.500 euros

eDrive40 - 77.000 euros

As far as I could find out, Germany and Austria are the countries with the lowest prices.
Comparing with Portugal, the differences can reach 10,000 euros.
