Pairing a Bold 9700

I had paired an "incompatible phone" in the past when I first picked up my E92 with idrive, and the dealer blamed the incompatible phone on a circuit board in the navi system burning out. I told em they were BS, software wouldn't result in a hardware issue. They decided to "take care of me" and replace it that one time, but threatened me not to ever pair another phone that wasn't on the compatible list.

So to the point - Has anyone paired a BB Bold 9700 for any amount of time? Any issues? I'm hesitant to pair mine up now, but really want to be able to use the blue tooth features.

That dealer obviously has no idea how electronics work. Offer to pay for him to go to a Technology 101 course at a local community college if it happens again. 9700 wouldn't be on any list as it released post the vehicles nav system. The 9700 should tie in like any other Blackberry. It's the top-end model so I can't see it being a problem. Think of how many execs carry the top-end Blackberry.
