Thanks for the photos! It's great to see how it looks. I love those seats, but the headliner is not for me. I thought I'd really like it, and probably would have ordered it if I could, but it wasn't available when I ordered, and I'm ok with that.

Tbh, I don’t particularly notice it. I guess Alcantara may not age well being folded up multiple times like it would do in a sunshade application. Plus, the rear window shades and the electronic rear blind all match with the sunroof sunshade, so there’s a nice contrast against the Alcantara.

I mean it’s a nice to have but after a handful of times of getting in the car, you’d stop noticing it anyway. Also, if you tend to have a partner who loves makeup, you’ll be thankful you don’t have Alcantara!

This is my experience. I have the alcantara headliner in my M5, but although for $650 I would have ordered it for my i5 if it were available then, I don’t actually ever really notice it in the M5. I never look up.

Don't forget guys, Alcantara also noticeably improves the noise isolation of the cabin. That's the main reason I ordered it.
