Don't even get me started on glassware, my household has been in storage for five years because of the pandemic, stepmothers health and so much more and the movers are arriving later today. The second thing I'll do is start the large ice cube trays and invite friends over. The thought of sleeping in my own bed tonight is more than I can express and is job #1.

Thumbs up

Another Uniden R7 for the X5MCOMP. I considered the R8 but the performance and value of the R7 can't justify the additional cost.
If you're curious about the overall best Radar Detector on the planet look no further!

I've been partial to my Valentine V1 for quite a few years now. The arrows AND counter have saved my bacon more than once. The CHP like to run one cruiser trailing another by a mile or so. When the 1st one passes, without the counter, one is tempted to speed back up; I've seen this in action. When cruiser #1 passed going opposite direction, I didn't speed back up because of the counter, the two cars (a Charger & a BMW) behind me sped up and cruiser #2 popped a 180 in the median and introduced himself to both drivers.

Those shady sons of guns! I agree. The arrows and ability to detect multiple threats and display the bands simultaneously is a Game Changer!

Beelink Mini S13. The S12 is impressive and replaced 3 Raspberry Pi boxes without breaking a a sweat. This S13 is going to run Scrypted instead of the RPi5 that runs it now.

I've been really impressed with Sigma lenses recently, and this had great reviews. I could not see paying $500.00 more for the equivalent Sony lens, even if it has tad better specs. I have a 50mm f2.8, but am getting more into portraits, and want more of the blurred background which the 1.2 will give.

I have their 50mm f1.4 from years ago. Heavy beast, but awesome bokeh. The 1.2 will have a razor thin focal plane.

They have a "new" 50mm 1.4 as well. I believe like the 50mm 1.2, the 1.4 is a totally new design... latest focusing motors, made specifically for Sony E (and Leica) mounts. The 1.2 is ~~ $550 more than the 1.4. I'm sure the 1.4 would be fine for my amateur usage, but it will be the last 50mm lens.. probably the last lens period.. that i buy. Why not !

If I have a bad case of "gas".. maybe a new camera... some day...

I'm still using my 5DIV's and the fast EF L's, I do own a Sigma 35/1.4 and I love it. My Canon EF50/1.2 is my favorite lens when shooting for Food Clients, the bokeh is beautiful. Enjoy your new lens and post some images sometime.

Thanks. Will post some pictures for sure. I was very much into photography 25-30 years ago. I was a Canon shooter. Still have my F1-N and quite a few FD lenses. When I got back into photography 10 or so years ago, I went the Sony mirror less route. I still do use my Canon FD -L lenses on my Sony. Obviously no AF etc, but i get great results. Actually i have a few F1's. I had GAS back then .

Ya know... I will say yes. Now granted, I've had Professional Whitening and as I understand it from my Dentist, certain Toothpaste can help maintain whiter teeth better than others. I've had good results from Crest as a whole.

I've had my previous cutters for at least a few years. A much needed replacement for my recent stash of new Cigars.

Three 40 pounds bags of seeds for $100 tax included. That should keep my flock of chickadees, nuthatches and other passerines happy for a while.

I just picked up a 40lb bag yesterday along with a 50lb bag of peanut pickouts. My monthly contribution to nature. I put out a bunch of both every morning and the feeder area looks like a scene from Hitchcock's The Birds as I'm walking back into the house.
