Yeah, I think it's different space then. We're both mid 30's, so we have two kids, it's all we wanted initially, so we're at that point in life where we wouldn't have been if we were late 20's / early 30's.

Sorry, I ment to say I was in my early 30s. She was 29, I think... Yes, our situations are different, but you never know what can happen. It's good to have some options available, just in case.

Congrats, I'm in a similar situation (kids 4 & 2, done for sure). My hesitation is the whole post-apocalyptic scenario/survival of the species thing. You know, where the only people left on the planet after some type of horrific incident are me and, let's say for the sake of argument, a harem of beautiful women. And the weight of re-populating the species rests on my shoulders. Would probably be regretting the snip in that scenario.

My wife thus far has not been overly swayed by this argument. Hey I'm not saying it's likely, but it's at least possible. And we're talking about the survival of the species here after all.

The snap isn't that bad. Just feels like you've been kicked in the balls for a few days afterwards. Some say testosterone levels might drop after the snip but I don't think that's been validated by large studies yet.
