Germany is in trouble... If Costa Rica scores 2 on you what do you think Teams like Argentina or GOOD GOD Brazil will do to that defense?

You might be right Shim, but I don't see Germany making it too far unless it becomes a shoot out or they toughen that defense. By the way the avatar is that you?

England 1-0 paraguay
not, bad, the important thing is that they got 3 points. i didnt watch the match but they said Paraguay was pushing at the end Sweden 0-0 T&T (long name) sweden had 1 of its worst matches, i saw them missing like 100 near-goals Argentina 2-1 Ivory cost Ivory pushed in the beginning, lots of courage n enthusiasim !!! but then the Tango guys score twice n calmed them down, after that the game became shitt !!!! i remember Argentina were used to score 5 goals or so in these simple matches, but yesterday they were different, scored 2 n calmed ...

I will be rooting for England of course. IMO they have a great chance of winning with Sven at the helm. I vaguely remember them winning the whole thing in 1966 at Wembley - I definitely remember the 1970 Mexico WC when we lost to Germany. We didn't qualify in 1974 thanks to Poland, failed in '78 and since then - until the Eriksson era anyway, English international soccer has been mediocre at best.
Now we have a chance although we did do well in WC 2002 - we lost to eventual winners Brazil in the 1/4s. I'll also root for the US and whoever plays Argentina and Germany! Netherlands just scored. Who remembers the great Johan Cruijff?

I have to admit Argentina impressed me, they played a good game against Cote d'Ivoire. England and Germany weren't that convincing. Tomorow Italy will kick Ghana's ass.

My first impressions on location
None of the teams which have played till now are unbeatable. All are nearly balanced, except one or two of the african teams. But the best is, every one of the fans is celebrating a peaceful party . The swedish, dutch and the polish girls are the sexiest |

Yes, apparently there were/are 65000 England fans in Germany and the arrests were very few.

Watching USA vs Czech Republic just now.
That's bad luck for the US Boys, the Czech forwarders are in a very good mood . The second goal punched in like a bullet. Hopefully the game will end in a tie. I'll keep my fingers crossed. |
