This is what a beautiful, fresh, edgy design looks like. You don't have to make the car ugly to make it new and unique. I'm really liking Audi's designs lately. They are accomplishing what BMW could only dream of.

As far as aesthetics are concerned, this is a great looking EV. Much better than anything Tesla offers, and I would have to give it a slight nod over the Taycan. But again, that's just my opinion. Downside, is pricing when compared to Porsche.

Video is a repost.

Agree, great looking inside and out. It just needs some more regular and affordable variants. Hopefully the next Audi EV's look this good.

I agree as well. I'm REALLY contemplating the GT model (not the RS). So much so I asked my dealer about putting an even earlier deposit on it (before actual deposits start being taken)...so unofficially, I have $1k deposit now on one. I keep thinking about this though and really wish they had come out with one lower tier just to bring the pricing down. I don't care if it's a few tenths slower in acceleration. Decisions decisions.

Couldn't agree more. Quite a few people, including myself can't afford a six figure car. However, I think as EVs become more accessible from various manufacturers, and more variants are offered you'll start to see pricing that is more affordable.

I've been reading a few other reviews as well. I'm liking that the suspension is a little softer than the Taycan (even in Dynamic mode). I need a little more comfort in my next car that's for sure.

The designers did a great job outside, but it looks like Mat (CarWow) confirmed my biggest design gripe with this car in his review. The center console isn't designed well, mainly being that the armrest is too far back, with cupholders taking priority. Pretty much makes it impossible to rest your hands at 4 and 8 on the wheel while having your elbows rest on the armrest. A small gripe, but one that easily becomes annoying everyday, for me this would possibly be a deal breaker.

Disappointed in the pricing. In Canada the GT starts at $130k and the one I configured is $143k. I pulled my pre-order deposit earlier today

I was disappointed as well. The packaging also sucks. The standard wood trim is ugly and doesn't work with the leathers, so the only other option is carbon fiber which requires a $6,000 package ($8,000 on RS). Then any other seat but black is an extra $4,000 ($5,000 on RS). Also looks like the US gets screwed over again with options compared to the EU market. Pretty much forced into the black optics package (I prefer the body colored frame grill). Its really showing its Porsche roots with the pricing.

It will be very interesting to see how it sells as Audi typically doesn't have a strong high-end market since VAG doesn't want it to overlap Porsche.

Damn that really sucks. On the other hand looks like your patter of a new car every year may finally be broken. Hopefully they will eventually release some lower priced options, especially since the Taycan has them, and have a better options/package structure.

The packages are a little more limited than what the US gets, but the standard kit is a bit better (perhaps why the pricing starts so much higher). The RS GT tops out at almost $200k here!! That's stupid money...no thanks I'll gladly head over to Porsche and pick up a 911 and cram my kids in the backseat, and have enough left over to buy a Mach-E! Lol

I think this is the first time I won't mind if my yearly car purchase streak is broken hah. I've only put 1,500 miles on the RS5 since I got it in October, and if my job continues to be work from home, it'll have no mileage on it when I go to trade it in (it's basically a weekend car at this point...using the wife's Q7 to run errands). Anyways I was still just a little bummed seeing the pricing released today, but maybe the petrol gods are trying to prevent me from going EV
