Not bad. The Styling is a little exaggerated for an Audi but at least it won't put you to sleep like the A8.
The pricing is an issue though. The Taycan commands a premium because its a Porsche. This is the same price as a Model S Plaid with worse performance and range. |

Just watched the livestream of the Audi E Tron GT and it's looks put the latest BMW EV offerings on the trailer for styling--probably also performance, but that will wait for tests of both. And, it's a dedicated EV skateboard platform, which the previous BMW management abandoned in favor of their combined ICE/PHEV/EV platforms.

Agree, the price is very high, it will be very interesting to see how this compares to a Taycan in the interior and drive. Hopefully range is much better in real world use. I'm also surprised they didn't release something closer to a base Taycan model, something for the every day Audi drivers who don't need S or RS performance. A regular "A" model at say $70k+ would have been nice.

agreed. Was hoping it was mid 80s to start, but 100k starting, I might as well stick with ICE.

Well, I was way off with my A7/S7/RS7 MSRP estimate. I agree with others above, it does seem to be priced too close to the Taycan to cause an additional segment of buyers to sit up and take notice. Oh well, it allows more space for the i4 to grab sales I suppose.

They will make a killing tapping into the wealthy early adopters with expendable income. These are the same people who bought the first plasma TVs at $17K
Not me. I think I will wait for the $200 Walmart version. Perhaps the $50K A4 variety. |

I see a few design cues borrowed from the i3/i8, ironically. The wheels look like direct knock offs of the i3 and i8s designs.
The cloth/leather seat stitch pattern is similar overall. The natural wood dash is something the i3 was known for and had won awards for in terms of modern clean design |

This car looks amazing both inside and out, and proves that you can move into an electric future without having a horrendous looking grille. Honestly better looking than 85% of BMW's current offerings
By the way, I noticed these paddle shifters on the steering column. Are they really being used to shift gears? I though there are only two forward gears in this car, and in the Taycan you have absolutely no control over them. |

This is one sexy car! It will look incredible in person. After seeing the launch video, I think this may be my new favorite EV so far. It was the Taycan until 5 minutes ago, lol.
I am guessing there is an A5/S5 Sportback-sized and priced EV on their roadmap in the near future. That will be equally impressive if it shared the design language with this GT. |

Aware that this rides on the same platform as the Taycan but it barely looks like they even tried to Audi-fy it. I'll give them props on the rear muscular hunches but that's about it.
