Mine updated last night. Don’t see any noticeable changes. Adaptive headlights are still working after the update.

Maybe....Or it's because my car is not registered with BMWUSA. I may have to go to the dealer to get it done. But my MyBMW App is registered with BMWUSA. And my car and VIN show up, and everything else works. And it's a US Phone with T-Mobile. I wonder if it will download to my phone in May when I go to the SF Bay area to visit my Daughter and Granddaughter? Not gonna worry too much. Everything works, and I don't have the e-sim enabled anyway.

Update for me was effortless. Still seeing if it fixed all the eSIM glitches.

Man, I had to call verizon because they had multiple duplicate charges because my car kept re-detecting my e-sim and creating new lines. I really hope at least that is fixed.

This morning came out to the car. The ambient light bar works fine also interestingly enough my battery level has increased by about 4/5 miles in range despite charging to the same percentage each night… This is in a 550e as a point of reference I now show 29 miles range on 70% vs 23 or 24z

My car was in for the recalls this week (brakes, eSIM) and they installed nothing. I did the OTA on my drive home and have 11.24

I saw the update available this morning. I paused the download, whipped out the bimmerutility and unchecked 5AP, saved, resumed download and is now installing 11/2024.74. (from 11/2024.50). App says it can take up to 20 minutes. fingers crossed that my eSIM still keeps working from updating to 11/2024.50 at the dealer last month and the removal of 5AP anti-dazzle start working.

Have you tried connecting to a US VPN? Not sure whether they geolocate by GPS or IP for the purpose of software availability, maybe turn off location services while connected to a US VPN?

This has happened to me on 2 different software updates. For me, The light bar comes back after a little time had passed. Think it took about an hour or so after the update completed. I’d wait it out 1st before going to the dealer.

Limited testing last night says no but my ambient light bar and other things were odd so perhaps some stuff was still being done in the back end. Will try more evenings this week and see.

I did the OTA today it's now 11/2024.74. I'm taking my 540i in tomorrow for the IBS recall. I wonder if they will update the system to 3/2025?

Despite the update my esim is stuck at this point. Tapping it does nothing. Deactivating and reactivating does nothing.

I ended up plugging into the wallbox overnight and by 8 am it said ready to install, so looks like my car just needed a slow charge. The update went by pretty quickly (about 15 minutes) all through the app.

Haven't gotten a chance to run out to check the lightbar issue someone mentioned. Also have to go for a night drive to see if the euro active matrix headlights enabled or not

I think your eSIM isn't working because there are too many fingerprints on the display screen. Holy cow man, give that screen a wipe down!

Since the update, it seems like the yellow side marker lights right above the "BMW LED" on the headlights are not staying on. I believe before they were illuminated even when the headlights were off (just DRLs on). Can anyone else confirm? Possible I'm misremembering....
