The full concert was on Palladia last week. Live at Kilburn in 1977, one year before Keith Moons death. These guys invented hard rock:

It started with the Kinks, (Beatles , Stones), Cream, The Who, Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd and so on etc etc. (Iron Maiden avatar)
I'm a very very big Kinks, Cream and Who fan. @ High School (some 30 years ago) the music teacher back then let us analyze Tommy Ouverture by the Who... And this: Cheers Robin Last edited by Robin_NL; 05-20-2014 at 02:13 AM.. |

I remember being about 12 or 13, scrolling through the channels, and 'Monterey Pop' came on. I thought it was pretty cool, seeing all the bands, like The Mama's and the Papa's and Jefferson Airplane play on stage, along with Otis Redding....and then The Who started playing. I would say that moment changed my life a little bit. I already had a fascination with the 60's [pop culture, music, etc.], but as soon as I heard The Who play, I knew I had found my favorite band, and when I saw them smash their instruments after their performance, it just sealed the deal.
