Audi R8 available.

As of this moment I know where you can get an R8. I just hung up with a dealer. He is getting a 300 mile car from Florida. Sticker is 135K. He is asking 180K... I know, I know but this car is coming in Dec 18th. He has many interested parties, but it is still for sale FWIW. He said a lot of the cars for sale on line can't say when you will get the car.
Ice silver/Black leather.
R-tronic.
Carbon blade package. Some carbon under the hood too.
NO Bang Olufsen.
Who out here is rich? What's a 45K premium???? IF someone really want's it PM me.

S5 can be ordered today with 1,000 deposit and expect spring/summer delivery. Thinking hard about it. White with the rust like brown leather, whatever it's called.

There are 5-6 unsold White on Brown S5s floating about the country, if you want one ask your dealer to locate it for you. Its all on the AudiLink site.

The brown interior is a bad colour choice pick the Red it compliments the white better and also pick carbon trim, it looks the business.

Thanks guys.
I was hoping to get some favors from them if I found a buyer for the R8.
He said he had the white with brown for a customer and it looked great.
I had an M3 white/red, so I wanted a change. BUT, the white with red is were I am leaning now. Or, the black and white combo, pearl and black I think is what they call it.
Footie. How many miles on yours so far? Overall, so far, impressions. In MPG terms about what are you getting?

Miles are 3K and mpg is at 20.5 (but you have to convert to US gallons remember), as far as the car goes the thing has been amazing, my first N/A Audi as the others have been turboed. Pulls like a bull from not revs and has a really nice engine note but not that noticeable from inside. Interior is pure class as is the exterior and if it had a little bit more power and slightly crisper handling then I wouldn't be going for the M3, but as there is no RS5 on the horizon the M3 will gladly fill it's boots.

P.S. It is quicker than a stock 335i regardless of what the others on the site believe, I know I've tried it out.

Mine is not stock. I like the power and all but for a change it would work.

I can't speak for what results you are getting in the US but I know for a fact that over here the S5 is the quicker, admittedly not by much but enough to make me feel confident to tackle any 335i that comes my way.

I know over in the US you don't have the 335d but let me give you a brief run down on the difference between the 335i and the 335d in performance. The 335i will clock the 0-60mph and 0-100mph runs in 5.1s and 12.2s respectively and the 335d covers the same in 5.8s and 12.7s, so in fact as you can see the diesel is slightly quicker over the 60-100mph gap and this improves even after this. Ask anyone over here and they will tell you the same.

Now here is a video of a group race complete with a S5 and a 335d.

http://www.autocarmag.com/VideosWall...21&Page=4&CT=V

Trust me, the S5 is a very quick car.

NOT...

Why are you comparing a 335d with the S5?

You are clearly a power crazy dude from what you have done to your 335i. Tuning is for those who can't afford the real thing, namely the M3.

P.S. Hope you don't need your warranty.

Yes, you are right...I can't afford an M3...and even if I could...I would never buy one. WAAAAY to close to a lightly modded 335.
I can probably beat a new M3 in a straight line with my 2 mods alone. 2k more for sway bars and tires and GAME OVER on the track also.

But to everyone else you will look like a cheapskate, the man who tries but never quite reaches where he wants to be. Sure you can make a 335i quicker than the M3 but that's hardly the point, it will never be an M3 and because of this it will never be as good.

Lets not start with the 335 vs M3 debate again, ok?

I didn't buy a 335 to be an M3. I bought it for its potential, drive feel and looks.

Yeah, i'm sure you will look like a cheapskate to the RS4 guys, no?

give me a break. since when does owning a car that costs 48k make you look like a cheapskate?

your arguments are getting ridiculous so there is no point in continuing this conversation.

enjoy your S5

Hit a nerve did I. The truth hurts doesn't it.

To the RS4 guys we driving the S5 don't look cheap and the reason is one has 4 doors and is the practical choice will the other is for those who don't require the extra doors, plain and simple. This will only happen when the RS5 arrives.

Why are you here?
I posted an R8 for sale. Not a spot for you to drop your little dingle turds.
I have had 4 BMW's and other brands of performance cars. All had there ups and downs. You guys that worship the BMW emblem like it is holy above all else is comical and closed minded dribble. Grow up, maybe?

I just searched auto trader and they are out there. I was leaning white, now I think I may go through paint hell and consider the black pearl with the pearl and black alcantera interior. 58K or so is how it built out.

Black is the best colour, but it's also the hardest to keep clean. As you live in Texas you shouldn't have to much problem keeping the Pearl Silver interior and on a plus note, it's not going to get as hot as black leather would.

Have you seen either Sprint Blue or Midnight Blue, both look really well on a S5. I wish I knew where you could get proper pictures of each colour, other than what's on Audi's web site.
