Has BMW lost touch with it's core concepts?
It used to be that BMW was about pure aggressive performance/driver's car mentality. Lexus was about quiet and reliable luxury. Now with the Lexus GS/IS/RCF Line ups, it seem as if Lexus is going towards raw aggression(in terms of looks, engine still needs catching up but it's rapidly getting there) and being the driver's car(vast majority of reviews say the new GS/IS are great handling cars and very fun to drive). BMW on the other hand is edging more and more towards mainstream luxury and comfort. Trying to sell more units and appealing to the middle age bracket.

Yea they are changing no doubt but it seems the whole industry is. Quieter, efficient, greener.
