It had potential and did throw a nice twist at the end. But yeah, it could've been better. I think the whole concept raised the question of "what if?" In that regard, it delivered.

Yea I'm gonna have to agree with him on this one. I thought it was such a great concept for a movie, but it was executed very poorly.

The movie business is usually allowed a shitty sequel after they've made a decent first one. The Purge does not deserve such honor. Such a waste of a great idea. Would've been better than the whole Final Destination franchise.
