I know that dude.

Unfortunately I'm too much of a pussy to mod my Shelby like that but I might when it's out of warranty. God I love that whine he got with the pulley.

Let's see your c7 do this with only $3k in mods.

Pricing has not been released, should start about $85k, easily cracking six figures with option packages.

Power levels of the cars do not matter, Mustangs and Corvettes are not in the same category even if you put a $60k Shelby against a $60k base Vette. Vette has always been the American sports car, the Mustang americas pony/muscle car.

Now if you want to compare to GM, you have a zL1 which better aligns with the Mustangs mission statement than the Corvette. I am not a Camaro fan until they downsize it, take out 400lbs of it and give it less tub like sight lines.

and somehow i would still want a vette over a mustang.

not everyone chases power. its hard to say this to a GT500 owner.

although i do respect a blown American V8 for sound and power.

And I could have bought either one. Went to a chevy dealer and sat in a new c7 and couldn't get comfortable for the life of me. 6'3 250 lbs with a 36 inch waist plus I could not force myself to like that rearend. It just looks horrendous to me in pictures and in real life. Not saying the c7 is bad just not for me plus I never track a car ever.

ya man thats a perfectly good reason to get a GT500. your comment before was saying somthing along the lines of the GT500 is better with 3k mods over 3k mods Vette. when they are just different cars.
