Why do you live where you live?

I was just wondering where you guys live and why. I'll get it started:

I live in San Diego, California because of the awesome weather and I grew up here.

5 minutes from Providence and Warwick, two large urban areas with the best food in the country. Moved here in July to be closer to work, though.

Stuck with my parents ATM. (19 tomorrow)
I would like to move to Iceland or The Isle of Man. (After further research of course)
Don't want to be close to sea level when the caps start to melt.. But then again, it wont really matter because of all the gas that will kill our ozone.
Maybe I will start working on plans for an underground living space, with some crops and etc.

i would like to move back to korea.
but i can't afford it at the moment.
also i would have to leave my bmw here if i moved back to korea.

Charlotte, NC. Because of work. I'm pretty much limited to here or Indianapolis in my current line of work. I do like Charlotte for the most part though.

Boston, MA for school/work. Originally from Hong Kong, went to college and grad school in Madison, WI. Wife picked Boston out of four cities: Boston, Houston, Nashville, and Milwaukee

19 and lazy to pay my own rent. Food is always available when I get home. Maybe in the future when I get 27 I'll finally move out and try a different place maybe NY.

If you're letting something that won't ever happen in your lifetime affect where you live, it may be time to re-evaluate your life. Or just move to San Fran already.

I live in beirut, lebanon
awesome place to live if u know the right people...
no speed limits, close to Europe (so traveling is simpler), great weather, friendly people, work, and u can do anything u can think of if u have the money for it

Wanted to be near my boyfriend and my family. I grew up in CT but there really aren't any big cities there, nothing like Boston.

Live in Denver @ the moment for work....mountains are nice but being so used to large bodies of water, I'm having withdrawal...might move back to FL or MD soon...depends on the job
