Slicks will add what, 20-30 seconds to that time? If this was the case, it would be a 8:00-8:10 car which is way too slow. Nissan is claiming they are a tad quicker than 997TT's so there's not doubt that this car is running stock tires... Pictures look convincing too....

Here is the edmunds article of the GT-R vs. 997TT at Laguna Seca. As you can see with the pictures at the bottom of the page that they are in fact doing the 911 comparos with the stock tires. |

The Laguna comparo and the N'Ring times are two different things. In either case, the world is waiting, so we shall see if the production version produces.
