Some guy in China decided death was a better option instead of going into one more store with his girlfriend after 5 hours of shopping.

As much as I hate to say it, I feel his pain. I get pissed if I am with my gf at the mall or store for more then an hour.

Except instead of killing myself, I just grab her by the hair and drag her out caveman style.

If she survives, she can proceed with her shopping in the store she lands in.

If she dies...well, that seems like effective conflict resolution to me.

That is exactly why I never went shopping with any of my girlfriends. I have better shit to do than carry fucking bags from store to store. I also never bring anyone with me when I have to buy shit for myself. My "shopping" trips take 30 minutes max.

Store workers always say that I look like I'm a "man on a mission" whenever I shop. I go into the store and march directly to the relevant section, gather my items, and I'm out of there in 5 or 10 minutes max. I rarely if ever buy anything on impulse.

Even when I'm buying non-essentials I usually plan what to buyin advance.

This. I can buy a year's worth of clothes in less time than it takes my wife to try on a dress. I *hate* Muzak and the crap they play in stores drives me to get what I need and GTFO.

Suicide is pretty extreme for a bad shopping trip. I think the worst experience I had was with my sister right after I got back from Afghanistan. My temper was paper thin and she decided to look at every damn thing in the hello kitty store. I was about to rip the place apart to get her to leave by the time I finally got her out of there.
