Ah kids and their lack of respect for the classics...
Kudos on the sick American muscle!

I remember my dad was very excited when those first came out, he had a friend who had a Grand National and a GNX.
If memory serves these were the quickest 0-60 production cars available when they came out (at least in the states, around that time our cars and imports had their nuts cut off at the factory). |

when i was growing up in Detroit.....the Grand National/GNX was a big deal on the streets!! there are still quite a lot of them floating around Detroit for Woodward cruises, etc. Definitely a car going up in value.....and will be a future collectable for sure.

Hard to take you seriously when your shouting out of the window of your minivan.

Because everyone who bought a 135i bought it because it was spacious and versatile. Not sure where you got the "faster" notion but that just shows how much you know...

With some modern upgrades to the suspension (tubed control arms (upper and lower), coilovers, and some frame stiffening) can make it keep up with even a C5 zo6 on a road coarse. |

Do you work for a shovel manufacturer? You seem to be gifted at digging holes. As someone who's owned a 135i and an X1 35i, I can say quite factually that the 1er is faster, handles better and is more fun. The X1 is more practical, and with the lack of a 335i F31, the better choice for my wife. But bashing a Grand National and a 135is in the same thread is getting a bit pathetic.
