1ner gone what next? Aston, Bentley, Ferrari?

Well time has come to move on. I have been looking at Aston Martin DB9, Bentley Continental GT and Ferrari 360 or 430. Which would you choose and why? I am leaning more toward the DB9 as I used to own a DB7 and loved it!

What size yacht? I'm having a very hard time deciding for myself.

For OP, go with the Aston.

I actually opted to get a 59.74 meter Bacarella by Trinity. Mine is a 2009 model, so it is long past a renewal. It can sleep up to a max of twelve people between the luxurious six stateroom layout which includes a master stateroom, a VIP stateroom and four guest staterooms. She also fully accommodates for her crew in separate crew quarters. 8)

Anything less than 48 meter is amateur hour at the yacht club.

Well already having the veyron and jet I didnt want to go overboard with the yacht. So I settled for an 88' HorizonE88. Got it pretty cheap at $6.5M so I used some extra funds to buy a 991 GT3 as a daily beater so I dont rack up miles on the veyron.

You made an excellent choice with the Trinity, they build beautiful yachts. I am currently trying to decide between their 55M and 63M sport yachts and having a difficult time. I agree completely with anything under 48 being too small and looking like you really don't know what you're doing at the yacht club. Plus, with something that small you seem to see other people all the time, which isn't at all what I need.

I'm sorry you had to go with such a small boat, that just doesn't sleep enough people for me, which is why I had to look at the 50+ meter category. As you know, money really is no object, so only the best will do. Plus, I may have to buy my mistress another house so she won't go and tell my wife.

I feel bad for all the newcomers that come to the club in 25m SunSeekers thinking they are true "boaters", but we all get our good laughs in and they usually scare off pretty easily. I am tired of all these punks buying these tiny boats and taking up valuable real estate at the docks for those of us who are not trying to "prove something".

I do wish I had opted in for the helipad on the main deck, and was a terrible decision on my end. I know have to land 50 feet away from the dock, which is a terrible amount of strain on my legs walking that far in my WalkTall Luff Decks.

I know exactly what you mean. We had one guy trying to tell us how we were all "too showy" with our "massive yachts" and the like. Of course he didn't last long thankfully.

I have also been thinking of the helipad option, though the sports yachts don't always have them as an option, I could always add one. At least that would give me the ability to just leave when my guests start becoming tiring. I personally prefer a good Sperry, but the WalkTall Luff Decks are also an excellent shoe. I'm glad to see there are more people that have excellent taste out there. I can see from your excellent artwork here as to how you can afford all of these things.

In exchange for legally transporting my crew from Honduras to the United States, I have been able to keep a steady rotating crew for my voyages, and believe it or not, they actually pay me, I do not have to pay them. Not sure why, but I accept their generous offers.

PM me if you would like my contacts. You must be bilingual, however.

True aficionados always enjoy a discussion on yachts. Your comment caused me to exert a mildly amused audible chuckle as I sip champagne on the deck of my Revolver 55. She may be small, but I am always first to arrive in Monte Carlo. I appreciate her luxurious swiftness.

When I need more room to sleep my friends, family, coworkers, political refugees, KGB agents, and muclear missiles, I take the cruise ship.

Is this going to be your DD beater?
If so, forget the F cars. They are so fragile and few gave up on me after 6000miles.
And I rarely drive my DB9, because I never liked this crytal keyfob that sticks out in my pocket.

I think BGT gets my vote as a DD.

I like where your head is at. Its true, once you boat, you always stay afloat (thats our yacht club motto). I like your taste, going for speed rather than space, but if I am out on the open sea, I like to keep a comfortable distance from everyone at all times. Also, to be environmentally friendly, I have converted my toilets to use turbonetic propulsion to extrude bodily excrement out the side of the boat like a 17th century cannon. I highly suggest this for anyone looking to conserve water.
