Smoothie ideas?

I received a Vitamix earlier this year and am having fun just blending random crap.

However, I need some new ideas for good smoothies. Don't make it too complicate or it will wear me out. Throw out some ingredients and let me know what your favorite blends are. How about some supplements? Right now a scoop of protein powder and some raw cocoa is what I throw in there. Anything that's easy and fun?

Rockin' wellness meal replacement shake is good. It is organic nongmo. You can mix it with bananas, berries, kiwis, kale, etc.

I have a vitamix as well; Right now I am doing kefir as a base, scoop unflavored protein powder, flax seed, banana, spinach, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, pear. I don't always use all of those fruits but I have rotated them. I'll always have kefir, protein, flax seed, spinach and banana. Pear is probably my favorite tasting fruit to mix in but it is a pain to cut up. Sometimes I'll mix in almond milk with the kefir.

Oh, 1,000 posts; yay

Not sure what your goals are but shake wise my favorite is:

I do 2 large tea spoons of peanut butter, 1 cup of low fat milk, 7 ice cubes, 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein. taste like a reese's pieces slushy

here is a link to a large variety of smoothie, protein shakes

Thanks for the suggestions. I drink kefir by itself, but never though about using it in a smoothie. I had seen flax seed pop up before, do you get the actual seeds or the oil?

I have been using almond milk too for my smoothies. The only problem is that it does not taste very good when used on cereal, so I always have to buy milk also.

At my local Central Market, they sell Navitas (http://navitasnaturals.com/view_category.html). Right now, I have purchased the cacao powder but I've bought the nibs before too. So I dump that into my smoothie on the reg.

Is there anything else in the list of products they sell that would be beneficial in a smoothie? Since it's not cheap stuff, I don't want to just buy a bag and wing it.

There's something about smoothies that make them almost irresistible as a meal, a drink, or a snack, especially on a hot summer day.

I've heard most of the girls in Singapore are smoothies... I guess "landing strips" are out of style

I just got a personal blender for my dorm. My recipe
before bed:
2 scoops of casein protein
2 big scoops of peanut butter
vanilla skim milk
1/2 cup of blueberries
whole banana

After workout:
pretty much the same but use whey instead of casein

No way that I would eat so many small fruits if it wasn't for smoothies! I love them.

Ok, I don't mean to brag, but I'm pretty much a pro when it comes to smoothies... Add protein power and fiber powder as desired. I usually mix that with some milk and frozen fruit or fresh fruit depending on what I have.
Strawberry or strawberry banana is good.. add some chocolate syrup if you want to get crazy
Black cherry and dark chocolate chip is damn good.
Peach specifically with vanilla or cookies and creme protein
Orange juice, vanilla protein tastes kinda like a cream sickle
Piņa colada smoothies
Or be boring and buy some premixed stuff I guess
