Kre-Alkalyn

Hey guys, I just want to know everybody's opinion on kre-alkalyn and more specifically *All American Kre-Alkalyn. Ive been taking this stuff for about a week and i noticed i work out harder than before and i can put on 10 more pounds when lifting. I dont know if its actually working or if its just a placebo and i think its working when im just pushing myself more. So i just want everyones experiene with the stuff and ideas about it. Also i would like to know if you guys prefer creatine monohydrate instead and want brand.

I wanted to avoid the monohydrate because i heard it bloats you.

Krealk is the more stable form of creatine. It's still considered creatine in a sense. Of course creatine is stored in your muscle cells, explains why you might feel more energetic. More energy for your cells are readily available on-site as you will before your body even bothers metabolizing other energies, ie carbs, fats, proteins.

IMO, not too big on creatine products, unless you're a competitive athlete

If Kre-alk is giving you a 10lb boost, I can only imagine what some Cyp would do for you

I used AA Kre-Alk in pill form for about 6-8mo, and then switched to powder form for about 9mo. I make my own pre-workout with it, as well as taking it with my post-workout protein shake. The stuff is decent, and it's nice that you don't need to pre-load, you don't have to take it on off-days, and I never got gut-rot from it like I did with monohydrate. Overall not a bad creatine.

I decided to switch creatine just to change things up and am currently using MusclePharm Creatine (5 creatine blend). Also like that stuff.

I haven't taken monohydrate in years, and feel that it's really not as beneficial as the "higher grade" creatines.

Hyphy mud is just caffeine. About 170-200mg of it.
My homemade pre-workout has 200-400mg of caffeine in it, depending on how I'm feeling. I call my pre-workout "Velociraptasaurus Rex-kwan-do 5000"

In all seriousness, a lot of the science being presented out there still supports Creatine Monohydrate as being the best, so long as it's loaded and then used correctly.

The new blends and such are supposed to take away the need for loading, and the need for taking it on off days. The problem is that there aren't a lot of studies confirming this information as of yet. So, the efficacy of Kre-Alklyn and other creatine blends is in question to some degree.

As for my pre-workout:

Gaspari Nutrition Anavite multivitamin,
plus..

10oz water
Mio liquid flavoring to taste (usually blueberry lemonade or tangerine orange)
5000mg L-tyrosine
5000mg Arginine AKG
5000mg Beta Alanine
5000mg Acetyl L-carnitine
200 or 400mg caffeine (the caffeine comes in 200mg capsules)
dosing of creatine

(5000mg = 1tsp)

I am taking non-monohydrate creatines to see what they do, and because I did actually get some bad gutrot from it.

Creatine "bloating" isn't actually bloating. Taking cre-mono increases water absorption and retention in the cells. If you want that shredded pre-contest look with all the striations, it may not be the ideal thing to take. Short of that, the water retention you get from creatine should be desirable because it's very beneficial. Aside from the fact that it causes your muscles to swell and appear larger, having sufficient water in your cells means that they're in an optimal condition for what you want. It fosters a favorable environment for energy output, then followed by recovery and making gains. When your cells are swollen with the appropriate amount of water, they can operate at peak efficiency.

Waste of money IMO. I was worried about bloating with regular mono for the longest time, but it was an non-issue. Mono is cheap enough to find out for yourself

Lol you take 400mg of caffeine!

Oh and 200mg caffeine with 1000mg l-tyrosine on an empty stomach does wonders if you haven't slept. Gladly though, I haven't touched a caffeine pill in years

I drink anywhere from 3-6 cups of coffee a day. My coffee cup is 16oz. One 200mg caffeine pill in the morning just gets me to "normal".
