Market Value Question--2000 M5
I am looking to buy a 2000 M5 from a good friend. We are discussing price. He is the original owner. The car has 31,000 miles, has always been garaged and has never been on the track. It has never seen snow and has no aftermarket equipment or upgrades. It is in excellent condition, but will need new tires shortly. It is black on black. We are looking for feedback about its fair market value. Edmunds/Kelly BB/NADA highest number is about $15,800. Cars for sale are listed at higher prices, but I don't know what they actually sell for. Any thoughts about fair value would be appreciated. Thank you!

Awesome price for the mileage, I'd expect $18-20k for that easily, and that's only because it's pre-LCI. If everything is in good shape, jump on it!

I have used Ebay's "COMPLETED LISTINGS" to gauge prices.
This shows what items actually sold for. Or the highest bids for their items. It is a pretty good market indicator.
