damnit i cant wait for this movie to come out!!!!! anyone here knows the release date?!!?!? the anticipation is killing me!

(favorite scene from HKWC was when kumar was fantasizing with the bag of weed... lol... reminds me of myself, subtract the coffee part lol)

im west Indian, that means we are from the Caribbean, but our forefathers came from india (asia) a long time ago and basically mixed with local indian

I believe South Asian is the correct term. Asian usually refers to the orient. Actually, Indians are more related to Europeans than Orientals. The Aryan race spread from southwest Russia to Northern India and mixed with the southern(Dravidian race). "Aryan" actually comes from the word "Arya" from ancient Hindu texts. In fact the swastika is actually a Hindu holy symbol.

Cant wait! How strange, someone was actually talking about something and mentioned Whitecastle and it reminded me of Harold and Kumar. I dont always check out this section but I'm glad I did. Wohooo ! :rocks:

When you say 'west Indians' do you mean 'Native Americans'? Native Americans came from contemporary North-East Russia (Chukotka Oblast, Kamchatka Oblast region) and crossed into modern Alaska during the Ice Age when these regions were still connected. The modern inhabitants of the Caribbean Islands are a mix of these aborigines, along with Spanish/French conquistador and Black influences.

As for the 'Asian' discussion, 'Asia' is just a continent and really anyone from Asia can claim to be an Asian. What a person thinks of when they hear 'Asian' is up to the society/culture that person belongs to. An example, in the United States an Asian is usually associated with Orientals.
