and hey had to ask about the ladies because you never know. I’m 36, and I’m voting NO. But that said I know many who have. In engineering (kicking a dead and decomposing horse) yes…and often! With respect to women….YES….the ladies hit about the age of 35 and well…if he has a pulse he’s an option….. Last edited by shah269; 05-20-2013 at 02:04 PM.. |

^I do feel time is running out, I don't see myself as an old, single person I believe that life would be very hard - but the alternative getting married and kids, carries with is so much responsibility, sacrifice and self-control, -which I am not sure i am capable of doing at this moment.

Think you mean 45. 35 does increase your risk of complications but it's certainly not the end of the line.

I'm in my early 20s (single) and I had better be married before I'm 30, lol. Call me old fashioned but I never understood the promiscuity that goes on in my age group. I just want to get settled, married and have a family.

I've been married since 27 so going on 3 years. I didn't settle because I found a women who doesn't want kids! lol. But seriously alot of my friends rushed to get married in their early 20s and have kids. Now we are all 30 and they are all miserable. I might give kids a go in a couple years, but for now I'm really enjoying life. I almost hate the idea of having kids, because I feel like you waste your youth raising a child, then you really only get to enjoy life after they are grown up and your older.
Yes I'm vain, but I love and enjoy my wife and I want to have fun in life with her. |

I'm not sure where you read that but it's simply not true.

And on average….yes it does get harder and harder for a woman to get pregnant after the age of 30. Yes there are exceptions but…on average it’s just not that easy. But there are always the exceptions. Maybe that’s what is bringing about this “lowering of standards” for older women who want to settle down with a man who is around their age? Just guessing here….nothing scientific just guessing and asking. |

Settle? Settle for what? Stupid thread.
If I exhaust all my possible options (match.com, eharmony.com, craigslist, etc), I'll just spend the rest of my life at whore houses and strip clubs. Those girls don't age. Win - win.

im 23 and will more than likely be married at 25. Ive been with the same girl for 4.5 years and if all goes as planned i feel after dating for almost 7 years is a pretty good amount of time to know if i wanna be with her or not. I grew up fast and im already over the party seen and all that jazz. I spend my nights working around the house and yard so im already basically settled down so why not take the next step?
