I've been to Italy twice in the last year and loved it each time. I also loved Kauai. Maui I could take or leave. Turks & Caicos is great and very close.
Cabo is the only place I recommend as a total NO. Water too rough and deep to swim in, town is a dirt hole, people are shady, peddlers all over the beach. Not one enjoyable feature IMHO.

Spain or italy both have absolutely amazing coasts and are fantastic choices for vacation. Spain has barcelona, ibiza, madrid, lots of culture and history if youre into that kind of thing. Italy has the same thing. Anywhere but Rome is nice there IMO. Capri is most likely going to be my honeymoon destination for whenever i get married.
I'd recommend france as well, but ive never been to personally comment. |

france is fun, a lot of really good food for chili's-level prices.
hawaii is still one of my favorites, though kinda tired of the japanese there thinking they own the damn place |

Take her to the big Island in Hawaii or take a trip down the coast of Italy. She will love Amalfi
Greece is beautiful too but is about to get really touristy If you like to be outdoors and want it to be just you and her check out a hotel called Ariau Towers. It is amazing. Then there are all the typical Caribbean island destinations. Most are beautiful but some are quite dangerous and the quality of people makes you want to walk around with lysol and pepper spray. Avoid Cabo, Cancun, most of Belize, inland Jamaica, this one crackhead near some sheet set store in Grand Cayman was trying to get me to buy a rock off him. Since everyone is throwing out typical destinations i'll remind you of a couple of more authentic destinations.
I'm slightly biased as i'm typing this from St. Croix USVI. Which is a pretty awesome island. This is my first time here, but it's just a gorgeous island with beaches, mountains, underwater national park, scuba, snorkeling, hiking, views, bioluminescence bay, etc... We've been here for 8 days and we weren't able to do everything we wanted to. The food is fantastic also! Air fair is cheap, which is good because the island isn't. Everything is expensive here. The locals are awesome too, they love their visitors. You're forced to slow down to island time. We got married on St. Lucia which is more of a chill by the resort pool type of destination but they have some cool island tours as well. Very pretty island. Good sucba, snorkeling and sailing. MAJOR island time. We went to Florianopolis Brazil last year at this time. This was very cool as well. Many good beaches, some of the best surf in south America. Great food, great people, another very beautiful island. Great hiking, white water rafting, etc... The travel costs are steep but the island costs are very reasonable. We rented a house on the lagoon that was for sale at $2.5mil for $1400 for 8 nights! The language barrier was a bitch though. We had a friend with us who speaks portuguese and he couldn't understand anything they were saying. Just a few words here and there. But the locals will play charades for as long as it takes. Bring dark sunglasses.... there is more fine ass than you can shake a stick at. My wife is a triathlete so we tend to vacation around some destination races. This one was Ironman 70.3 St. Croix and it was Ironman Florianopolis 140.6. May end up in Austria next year and touring Europe.

Money is not the problem... Time on a plane is... Don't want to make that trip. I would rather go to Bora Bora for that much time in the air...

We did French Polynesia for our honeymoon. Stayed mostly in Moorea and couple days on Bora Bora.
Nature was fantastic. A lot of my friends who saw our pictures of us swimming in the ocean think it's the big pool because of photoshop like water quality. I was little scared when I was in the water cuz I could literally see miles away in the water. I enjoyed Moorea more because Bora Bora just lacked land... Too much boat time for activities. |

Places like Bora Bora and the Maldives, while stunningly beautiful, are incredibly isolated and you're often confined to your own resort and it's amenities as they're almost all on private islands.

Bareboat chartered from Tortola, british virgin islands.
Also spend 3 days in st. Thomas last week before 7 days on Jost van dyke. I would never spend a whole week on st. Thomas, too dirty and locals were not friendly enough. Bvi is great, many islands to choose from, huts, villas, houses, mansions and plenty of cat charters. 3.5 hr flt from Boston which makes the first day of vacation not a total waste. Been the oahu, big island, the the travel time on flight is too much, don't think i will go back soon. Europe isn't any farther... Good luck!!

I went to the Mentawai Islands in Sumatra. Luxury yacht with all food and drinks included. Amazing surfing! Amazing fishing and diving. Two hot showers a day (important). My gf even enjoyed it. And the crew enjoyed looking at her laying out in the sun

just got back from a Mediterranean cruise with MSC and it was quite amazing. Visited Barcelona, Madrid, Tunis, Rome, and Milan. Best part was definitely visiting Rome and seeing the Vatican.
