My nemesis is the "pacer". It is a modified "Tease". They will move along at a reasonable speed in the left lane so long as there is no one in the right lane. When they come upon someone in the right lane they will slow down and match their speed plus .0000000001 mph. They crawl by the person in the right lane until they (eventually) pass them at which time they will accelerate back up to reasonable speed to the next car in the right lane. You are never afforded an opportunity to pass and they feel they are still in the "right" as they are actually "passing". Albeit glaciers move faster than them during said pass.

I like the people that will ride your ass in the left lane, even if you're going 10 over the limit. Then when you shift right to let them pass, they slow down because they don't want to be the fastest on the road, afraid that they'll get pulled over.

So they merge right behind you and continue to ride your ass.

My favorite maneuver is "The Moses". It involves using strobe lights.

Ok now the moses thing makes sense! lol..... I guess I'm a bit dense today.

I knew a guy that outfitted his WRX with wing mirror and grill strobes. He got busted the first time he ever turned them on while driving. I could see getting away with it if you were in a US made car, but with my luck, I'd get called in for sure!! I've not seen too many bimmers with e-lights in the states!

I also hate the backwards version of this. They're content going whatever speed in the right lane until you pass. Then all of a sudden they feel the absolute need to pull over to your lane (usually very quickly and violently) and tailgate you, despite the fact that they were perfectly fine in the right lane for the past 10 miles until that moment that you passed them. Now they ride your ass until you move back to your lane, and they either move over with you, still riding your ass, or all of a sudden slow down now that you're not their "cop shield."

I like to think of myself as a courteous driver, though. I've actually gotten head nods or thumbs ups for moving over, before they get up to me, for a car coming up behind me that's going faster than me. Simple concept....yet grasped by so few.
