Oh, yes...Go figure they picked the the Jeep Wrangler as best looking and gave honorable mention to the new Infinity G35 (I think they meant to say the G37). Pretty much impeaches their credibility, in my opinion.

On Maxim radio 108 on sirius, I listen to one of the head writers of Jalopnik and the guy is a little off on everything he says. Like how he said chrysler bought MB, other way around. I try calling the show all the time and argueing with the guy, but I can never get through. They are tuner fanboys over there.

I love jalopnik, but that is just way off... the E92 is probably one of the most beautiful BMWs in modern times.. Its a car that looks better in person then in pictures, but which BMW isnt like that. Bah.

Jesus Christ. I have never seen a paragraph of shit that was closer to 180 degrees from reality. The E92 Coupes are absolutely the hottest looking cars on the road right now. In my opinion, it doesn't have a bad angle from anywhere - there is something about the curves and body lines which just look downright perfect. Nearly every time I park somewhere or go to the gas station, someone stops me to comment on how gorgeous the car is. Not sure what that author was taking when they wrote that article...
And read some of those responses! I have never seen a larger group of people in one place who were totally full of shit!

Just to clarify
Sorry to spam in guys, but speaking for Jalopnik, I wanted to clarify a few things. The post about the Wrangler Unlimited was about subjectivity of car design. The point was to discuss cars that catch your eye despite having no prior interest in it. It was never intended to be Jalopnik's picks for best design.
As for the E92, Mr. Lieberman decided to make an example out of it to start the opposite discussion. It's his opinion, and I'd imagine it doesn't go over well around here. So be it. As for the Sirius show, I don't have nearly enough listeners for anyone not to get through, so keep trying. I know I've misspoken a few times on the air -- to my embarrassment -- but I never, EVER said Chrysler bought Mercedes-Benz. |

God, what's with this forum?
Everytime anyone says anything remotely negative about about the E90/E92, everyone gets all pussy hurt. Who cares, looks are subjective, it's an opinion. That's what these people are paid to do, give their opinion. Just cause you dont agree with it, doesn't make it any less valid. You like your car, what do you care what other people think about it? Enjoy it! Seems like some BMW owner's, bought a BMW because they want everyone else to be impressed. I have never seen any other forum this worried about how their car is perceived. This isn't in response to this thread imparticular, just the 15 threads per week just like it...
