Going from work to home, got on a 2 lane road with 60 mph speed limit from a stop light. I was couple of cars behind at the light. Light turned green and for whatever reason I decided not to be behind those cars. I was in the right lane, hit the pedal to the metal...went left and then right...all done...wow that was fun! I didn't exactly cut anybody off, or was too close to any of the cars. All the sudden this faily new Caddy (not CTS, but the grandpa kind) that I just passed decided to get on my ass. This guy in his Caddy rode my ass for a good 10-15 seconds while he got on his cell phone and either called somebody, or wrote my tag number in his phone. He then backed off a bit and stayed behind me. Then he got in the left lane and came right next to me for another 20-30 seconds, then backed off. I ignored him the whole time and kept going at normal speed. Eventually I took an exit and he didn't. I've never seen cops driving unmarked Caddy's, so I guess he might be just a pist off driver, or a cop who happened to be driving a Caddy? Maybe a grandpa cop? I really didn't cut him off and I didn't go way beyond the speed limit either....just got there really fast! I guess my question is, if he was just a civilian and did call the cops, can they do anything? Would it be different if he was a cop?

so he wrote what kinda car u had. (make/model/color)
then pulled up next to you and checked out the interior and imagined himself being in the car.
then went and bought a bmw.

I don't know about the rules in your state, but I know in VA and in NC they dont even pay attention to phoned in numbers/plates/descriptions etc

I dont own a Caddy, but I feel compelled to respond.

I wouldn't worry about it, probly the same guy that yells at neighborhood kids for walking on his grass.

haha... I was thinking the same thing a month or so when I got pulled over.

Older cop made the comment "why don't you keep your German automobile and that type of driving to the autobahn, not the 101."

When I still had my truck I was driving through my parents neighborhood coming home from work. I was running late for my softball game and had to eat dinner. This lady refused to go any fast than 10-15mph (speed limit is 25). I shot around her when we got to the main street (speed limit jumps to 35).

Little did I know all of the sudden when I get out of my car she's yelling at me (meaning she was hauling serious ass to catch up to me) saying i need to slow down and she's got my plate # and she's calling the cops. I yell at her about not driving the speed limit and she can go ahead and call the cops because I know them all and they won't do shit. I almost grabbed my crotch at her just to piss her off, but she had a little kid in the car so I didnt. But i would have loved to see her expression after that.

ahh. last time i said something remotely close to Nazi i was nearly banned. but i feel compelled to correct you. the appropriate term here is : Nazi Sled. ahahahahahahhahahhhhhhhhhhhh
