Lexus IS Coupe
"Lexus is rumored to add a performance model to the IS lineup with a coupe body style and sufficient enough performance to challenge the E90 BMW M3. The new 2006 IS 250 and IS 350 sport sedans are already highly appreciated on the US market and for the next NAIAS Detroit show Lexus is expected to showcase a production-close prototype of the future IS Coupe, due to hit the showrooms in 2008."

They should've done that in the first place. I'd be in an IS350 coupe right now if it had come out when they released the sedan. You cant be the worst of the big 3 (IS, G, 3) and then come last to the party. Anyone who would've bought one is probably picking up the keys to their 3 or G or the IS sedan right now.

Not nearly as nice as the E92 M3 or the Audi S5 for that matter. Lexus makes great cars, but luxury is a priority over sport, although it seems they're trying very hard to turn that around to the "BMW way," sport over luxury. I still don't like the looks of the IS350 Sedan (or new Coupe); the lines just don't flow like the BMW 3-series and Audi S5, imho.
Plus, I find it difficult to believe that Lexus would be able to match the driving dynamics and handling of the BMW E92 M3. It's not that they can't do it (Toyota can pretty much do anything ); it's just they probably won't sacrifice interior quietness and luxury for raw sports car "feel."

I really love the lexus IS sedan but I just don't like it as a coupe, it's too fat and stubby and just doesn't proportionally look right.
I would rate the A5 and the 328/335 over this one. The A5 is just one great looking car.

It lacks detail; very bland. The proportions also seem very off. I think it's just a really bad photochop, cuz I really like the look of the IS sedan (minus the grill).
