i have searched the internet, there are lots of different answers but none seem to fix it. the Microsoft site instead of answering the question by the posting party, they ask a question...
i have run 'spybot', my 'avast' is current and finds nothing.
the problem, the 'explorer.exe' kills all my memory where the computer crawls, and there really are no programs running.
i can kill the 'processes', but have to logoff/on to get my windows things back, and it gets tiring/frustrating having to do this so often.
i just thought i would post it here since the m3post site is so knowledgeable.

Uninstall both of those, download Superantispyware for spyware(has to be run manually, unless you pay for it), microsoft security essentials for virus protection, and if you computer ever gets really bad(slow and crashing) download combofix and run that.
