I was watching pokemon on the TV, when I accidentally switched the channel and saw a burning building on live news . I was about 12 years old at the time and called my mom to watch and she was shocked!

7th grade music class. We turned the tv on and watched what happened the whole class. We watched tv in every class that day.

Was the first full week of sophomore year in college. I was sleeping in for having a late class on Tuesdays and was woken up early. My grumpiness quickly turned to awe when turning on the TV. Campus was a ghost town (I erred on the side of assuming classes still being in session when they weren't).

Funny how I can remember that whole day so long ago.

I don't clearly remember this day although I believe I should have. Just remember turning on the tv and seeing the tragic news.

I was at an Anti-Terrorism school for the Navy.

On the Monday we started the instructors (former CIA and Spec-Ops types) told us we had no idea how close we were to a terrorist attack on our soil. The very next day our country changed forever.

Needless to say, the remaining portion of our training at that school, and many more since, took on a while new meaning for me...

9th grade. Plane that hit the pentagon was so close to my school. (I lived in Maryland when it happened) We had to evacuate and they sent us home. What an awful awful day.

At work (GMT +1) when an employee of mine told me her brother called: a plane crashed into one of the WTC buildings. I put on the TV and number two flew into the other tower....

About one year before 9/11 I was standing on one of those towers.....

....strange feeling.

I was in morning report getting pimped with all the other residents when one of the guys got a call from his wife saying a plane had just hit the WTC (the first one). Needless to say things went downhill from there.

I was getting ready to take my driver's license exam when I heard it on the radio. I shut it off because I was already nervous about the exam. I got home just in time to see the first tower fall...
